Fixing Dust and Artifacts in Lightroom

There’s a unique feeling in your gut when you come back from a great photo shoot, basking in the beauty of a glorious sunrise or sunset, and then you view your photos onscreen and…spots. Dust spots. They’re everywhere. You couldn’t see them on the camera’s LCD, but now they’re all you can see. What to do?

Over at CreativePro, I show you how to fix those spots using Lightroom Classic and Lightroom CC (on desktop and mobile) to get rid of dust spots and other artifacts. The Visualize Spots tool, in particular, makes it easy work. And when you need something more than Lightroom’s built-in tools, you can always send the image to Photoshop for industrial-strength healing and repairing.
