The great Raw vs JPEG debate has consumed a lot of attention by DSLR shooters for years (see Episode #6 of the PhotoActive Podcast). But it’s not just owners of DSLR or mirrorless cameras that can take advantage of capturing in raw formats. The iPhone (and other mobile devices) is also capable of raw—if you know how to activate it. Why would you bother with raw on a smartphone, and how do you shoot using it?
