PhotoActive Podcast: Jordan Drake on Shooting Video

The PhotoActive podcast that I co-host is all about photography, but nearly all of our cameras now have the ability to record video. Shooting video with your DSLR or mirrorless camera is different from the camcorders of old, so even though there’s a lot of overlap between stills and video, the latter can be daunting. To clear this up, we talked with Jordan Drake, co-host of the DPReview TV channel. If you’ve ever wondered what the little video mode on your camera really does, take a listen.

I’ve also been remiss in posting about recent PhotoActive episodes, which come out every two weeks. Be sure to go to PhotoActive.co for our archive and show notes, join us at the PhotoActive Facebook group, and of course subscribe to PhotoActive in your favorite podcast player.

If you like the work I do, please consider signing up for my low-volume newsletter that I use to announce new projects, items, and giveaways that I think my readers would be interested in.
