New York Times on Apple User Groups

The New York Times published a great article about Mac User Groups, including a video feature about Lonnie Mimms, a computer collector who’s built his own Apple museum in an abandoned CompUSA building. The video opens with the sound of an Apple ][ floppy disk drive spinning up, which transported me to my uncle’s study when I was a kid, where I would spend hours playing Ultima III (or “]I[“) and other geeky explorations during family get-togethers.
