Turbocharge Wedding Edits with the Help of AI

For Popular Photography’s Wedding Week, I wrote about using AI tools to speed up the process of editing wedding photos.

I love the way this article turned out, largely due to the joyful photos that Carol Harrold allowed me to use for it. Popular Photography has been doing a Wedding Week, and my editor asked if I had any wedding-related ideas for my Smarter Image column. Yes! The ability to recognize objects in a scene means you can not only quickly make an adjustment like brightening the exposure on just the bride, but you can batch-process that edit across multiple similar photos. I looked at Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, and Luminar Neo specifically in this article.

It was also fantastic to catch up with Carol, who photographed MY wedding almost 29 years ago! Many thanks to the lovely bride Sarah for granting permission to feature her in these shots. (And congrats on getting married!)
