Out of the gate, we’ve had several fantastic interviews at the PhotoActive podcast that I host with Kirk McElhearn. This week, we chat with Quintin Lake, whose project The Perimeter is simultaneously exciting and daunting: he’s walking the entire coast of the United Kingdom, and documenting it in photos the whole way. Call it the ultimate photo walk.
Quintin talked about how every ounce matters when selecting the gear you take, shooting in all four seasons, and finding photo opportunities no matter where you are. (He’s doing the walk in bursts, roughly 10 days on, and 10 days back home where he works as a pro photographer.)
