Coinciding with my gallery of iPhone 8 Plus photos published at DPReview, I wrote specifically about the Auto HDR feature found on the iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 8, and iPhone X. It’s an audacious move by Apple, because there’s no longer any indication that the camera will take an HDR photo or not—it just does it if the software thinks HDR would work better for the scene. I’m impressed by how well it can work.
Read it here: HDR is enabled by default on the iPhone 8 Plus, and that’s a really good thing.
