Our summer plans took us to my mom’s farm in Dixon, California during the 2017 eclipse. Ironically, we would have seen better coverage in Seattle, but that’s not how things worked out. Despite that, it was great to share the experience with my wife, daughter, niece, and mom. Seeing the eclipse itself was very cool, but I think I enjoyed everyone’s reactions even more.
