The Seattle Art Museum is showing a large collection of work by Kehinde Wylie—and by “large collection” I also mean large in size. These hyper-colorful paintings of black men and women in traditional (white) poses is best viewed in person where you can get the full effect of the giant canvases. I went with my family today and had as much fun watching people as I did enjoying the artwork. I highly recommend catching the exhibit.
