Although I devote a section of the iMovie VQS to lighting, I really don’t know much more than the basics of lighting a scene. It’s one of those areas of shooting where you can fall into a rabbit hole and get lost (and really enjoy being lost). It’s also an area that is usually immediately obvious: good lighting can make a shoot look much more professional than it might actually be.
That’s why EFP Lighting.com looks cool. With examples and tutorials, the site is chock full of information on how to light shoots (both video and still photography). (Via FresHDV.)
