iLife ’06 Released

As expected, Apple today announced iLife ’06 at this morning’s Macworld Expo keynote address. We’ve posted more detailed information at TidBITS.

Also announced were Intel-powered iMacs (shipping now) and the new PowerBook replacement, the Intel-powered MacBook Pro: I want one, shipping February (which means March/April to be realistic; the online Apple Store seems to be overwhelmed right now).

Clearly, I’m going to be busy for the next few months!
