Dream on the Edge of Town

This dreamy scene was captured one morning when I went on a solo walk during a photo workshop I co-lead, because the light and fog were too good to resist. What I love about this shot is what you don’t see. Although this looks like a remote canyon, it’s actually in the middle of Colfax, WA, where the Palouse River enters the town.
