ON1 Photo Keyword AI Hands On at DPReview

Hate adding keywords to photos? ON1 Photo Keyword AI can do the work for you.

My latest article for DPReview focuses on a not-very-exciting aspect of digital photography: keywording. As I preach in my book Take Control of Your Digital Photos, assigning effective keywords to your photos can be an invaluable addition, making it much easier to find photos later. Unfortunately, it’s a step most photographers skip, or they don’t know which keywords to add.

ON1 Photo Keyword AI brings machine learning to a task that’s ideally suited to it. The app can scan your images and create keywords based on what it recognizes in the images, from scenes and objects to characteristics such as high key or low key photos. Sometimes it does too much, noting for example that a photo with a person in it includes “Human arm.”

Read the article here, and let me know what you think of this use of AI technology: ON1 Photo Keyword AI 2023 Hands On
