10 Secrets of iMovie ’09

In conjunction with my Macworld review of iMovie ’09, I’ve published an article at TidBITS that looks closer at a bunch of new tips and features in the new version: 10 Secrets of iMovie ’09.
For example, did you know you can use a second monitor to preview your movie and use the entire top half of the interface for editing the project? Or, something extremely cool: you can copy and paste all sorts of adjustments between clips, including stabilization, effects, and map styles. Or what about how to add a city to iMovie’s database of map locations?
As you might guess, I had fun writing this. Apple has done a good job of making iMovie ’09 deep as well as wide, which is great news to someone like me.
