Crap, Scratch That

Just got a call from our real estate agent: the woman buying our Renton house has backed out. Apparently her father went to see it and thought it was too much house for her, and invoked the three-day Neighborhood Review clause that lets buyers nix the deal without penalty (normally, if there wasn’t good cause then the seller gets to keep the earnest money that was put down with the offer).

Still, we got an offer after being on the market for 19 days, so it’s encouraging at least. Our agent says the market is heating up now that we’re past the holidays, so keep your fingers crossed!
